Print Graphics 2018 Calendar

Once again, Print Graphics has created a beautiful calendar to highlight the work of Blue Springs South High School graphic design students. Kyle Caswell, Production Manager at Print Graphics and Darin Lewis, Graphic Design Instructor at Blue Springs South High School, helped students expand their skill set by demonstrating various graphic design tools and techniques. Students learned to take their design from concept to print.

Twenty-eight students presented ideas for inclusion in the calendar and each student received a certificate of participation. Thirteen students were selected and awarded a $25 gift card. In addition, the selected student-designs have been printed in our 2018 calendar. Student name and grade is published on their calendar page and students may include this published work in their design portfolios.

We appreciate the eagerness of students to work with us on this project. Print Graphics prints and distributes 400-500 calendars each year.

Take the Lead! LEADership Blue Springs

LEADership Blue Springs - Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce

Several Print Graphics team members are proud graduates of the LEADership Blue Springs Program. Participation in the program involves a substantial personal committment of time and energy. Kyle Caswell, the most recent Print Graphics graduate says, "This was such an amazing experience! I was new to Print Graphics and the Blue Springs area, so when asked to join this group, I took full advantage! Not only do you develop leadership skills and learn the history of Blue Springs, but you get to meet and work with great people within the local community. I'm so thankful for being a part of this group and a proud graduate of the LEADership class of 2014-2015."

LEADership Blue Springs (LEAD) was established in 1991 by the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce to develop a community leadership pool. Participants develop skills and knowledge of the community through a series of workshops focusing on business, government, quality of life, volunteer services and local history.
